the smashing pumpkins的主唱billy的悲观情绪总是能主宰周遭的人们，在深夜,带些微醉，聆听adore的时候会被这反朴归真式的他们深深打动。这些音乐愈夜愈美丽。
淡淡的箱琴的声音，又节奏的朦胧不真实的小鼓点，泛起的式一篇深情，象摇篮曲一般。 “creastfallen”用典雅的钢琴配上好像夜里天上星星般一闪一闪的beat。“annie dog”的钢琴节奏又变的黯然起来，好像现在我独处一个小屋才能体会到的滋味。tear是首荡气回肠的作品，尤其是billy说"tear me apart，tear me apart from u "的时候，有几个人真的能把自己的身体就这样撕扯回来呢，撕碎自己或是不在挂念曾经融为一体的自己的另一个部分。“shame”很萧条，总是shame，shame，shame。感觉很舒服。最后“blankpage”也令我心碎，但是总的说还是for martha最让我感动。
这张adore式billy为母亲致敬的专辑，长达8分钟的“for martha”是真真正正纪念母亲的作品，里面让我流泪的一句便是“someday ill follow you and see you on the other side ”
